About me
I’m a postdoctoral researcher in the Research Institute for Cognition and Robotics (CoR-Lab) in the Hybrid Society Group at Bielefeld University. I received a degree in Applied Media Science from the Technical University Ilmenau in 2006 and then joined the research group for Applied Informatics at Bielefeld University where I finished my PhD in 2010. My research focuses on the social aspects of HRI, evaluation methods, and users’ expectations toward robots.

* human cognitive processes, expectations, and behaviours in human-machine interaction
* transfer of theories from social psychology to human-robot interaction
* evaluation of interfaces
* adaptation of evaluation methods for human-robot interaction
* perception of systems (behaviour and appearance) by users
* development of human-robot interaction corpuses and approaches for their analysis
